Community Health Interprofessional Challenge

What are your solutions?

Robert and Emma Stevens have a problem. Their 27-year-old son, Justin, has become addicted to opiates. He is out of work, his girlfriend has kicked him out of their apartment, and he is living in his parent’s home. He has been hospitalized and has used a gun to threaten his mother for money. How should the health system respond?

Sound interesting?

Would you like to be on an interprofessional team to seek solutions?  Come to a free, no-obligation informational session to learn more about this opportunity. It would be a great addition to your resume and you’d have the chance to meet and network with many professionals.  Info sessions (See below) are being held at both CSU and NEOMED.  More sessions will be added, so check back.

How it works

Teams of 5 students representing at least two disciplines will be formed.  Each team will put together a slide presentation and a one-page summary of suggested solutions. Teams will present their solutions to a panel of judges on April 23, 2017.
