Know Your Numbers VikeHealth Biometric Screening

The Human Performance Laboratory in the Health Sciences and Human Performance Department provides biometric screening through the "Know Your Numbers" program. Biometric screening is part of the VikeHealth rewards program and is worth 3300 points. During your appointment, the following measurements are completed:

• Height and weight
• Blood pressure
• Waist circumference
• Fasting blood glucose
• HbA1c (if fasting glucose is elevated)
• Blood lipids, including total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides

Testing is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings during the regular Fall semester, and by special appointment during the Spring semester. Appointments typically take ~15-20 minutes, but may take a little longer if HbA1c measurements are needed. Testing takes place in the Human Performance Laboratory, which is in Room PE B60. This room is in the basement of the PE building, directly under Woodling Gym. It is also near the doors leading to the Health Sciences building, as well as the Women’s Swim/Dive locker rooms.

Preparing for Your Appointment

You will need to print out and bring your Provider Screening Form from your Medical Mutual Wellness Portal in order to receive your VikeHealth points for this testing. You can access this form by completing the following steps: 

• Go to the CSU VikeHealth website (https://mycsubenefits.com/vikehealth-well-being-program/)
• Click on the medmutual.com/member link to login to your Medical Mutual page
• Select “MedMutual WELL” from the “Healthy Living” drop down menu after you log in
• Agree to the terms
• Click on the “Complete Your Biometrics Screening” tile
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page and download the biometrics screening form and the HbA1c screening form

Please avoid eating or drinking anything other than water for at least 10 hours prior to your appointment.
