University Hospitals, Cleveland State University, and Cuyahoga Community College have partnered to combat the impending Nursing shortage by offering opportunities to aspiring and returning RNs to obtain their degree and remain in Northeast Ohio. This partnership will create three avenues for RNs to enter the workforce:
1. Obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in our three year Evening/Weekend BSN program
Cohort starts every Spring semester
Evening and weekend program *
Classes will begin at 5:00PM Monday through Friday
Clinicals will be on the weekends, primarily during the day
University Hospitals will be a primary partner for clinical placement
To assist students, University Hospital is offering a post-graduation employment incentive of $12,000 through their Nursing Scholars Program.
School of Nursing scholarships available as well!
Deadline to apply - September 1
*Clinical rotations are not guaranteed on the weekend for the final semester
2. Obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the RN to BSN partnership with Cuyahoga Community College (TriC)
Complete your Associate Degree in Nursing at TriC
Complete the RN to BSN program online at CSU in as little as one year
To assist students, University Hospital is offering a post-graduation employment incentive of $12,000 through their Nursing Scholars Program.
TriC offering a $3,000 scholarship to students who completed their ADN and attend CSU's RN to BSN program within 18 months of graduating
3. Complete the CSU RN Refresher course
Program is designed for RNs who wish to update their knowledge and clinical understanding, whether it be to move to a new position or return to employment in nursing
Intensive learning experience consisting of classroom instruction, outside reading, and skills lab experience
