The Cleveland State University Department of Music Therapy aims to recognize outstanding alumni from our music therapy programs. We appreciate you taking the time to nominate someone who you believe embodies the qualities worthy of receiving our new Distinguished Alumni Award.

The CSU Department of Music Therapy’s Distinguished Alumni Award is designed to inspire students, honor the accomplishments of alumni, and strengthen a legacy of community pride.

This award is presented to alumni who have made notable contributions to the field of music therapy. Their contributions may include advancements in clinical practice, scholarly work, innovative practices, or other exemplary professional achievements.

A "Wall of Fame" will be created in the CSU music therapy suite, showcasing plaques in honor of the alumni who receive the Distinguished Alumni Award. These plaques will be displayed for students, faculty, administrators, and the community to admire. The honoree will also be presented with a personal memento at our 10th Anniversary celebration on May 1, 2025.

All nominations must be submitted by April 1st to be considered for this year's award.
