The Commission on Dietetic Registration administers valid, reliable, and rigorous credentialing processes to protect the public and meet the needs of CDR credentialed practitioners, employers and consumers. The Commission on Dietetic Registration protects and promotes the health of the public by supporting practitioner competence, quality practice, lifelong learning and career advancement.

Accreditation

The Commission's certification programs—the RD or RDN, DTR or NDTR, CSRCSPCSGCSO and CSSD—are fully accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the accrediting arm of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence based in Washington, D.C. This accreditation reflects achievement of the highest standards of professional credentialing.
