2020 Scholarship Recipients

Allison Bender is an MSW student graduating in December 2020. She has a passion and commitment to working with older adults. She has completed field practicum in hospice, is pursuing the Gerontology Certificate, has attended various Interprofessional Simulations and educations offerings, and has most recently participated on a national level with the Social Work in Hospice and Palliative Care Network. 

Ms. Deuley is a DPT student graduating in December of 2021. She is a brilliant leader working with diverse older adults and peers doing health promotion fall prevention program.  Her ability to create, organize and assess a health promotion program for diverse older adults is exemplary. She skillfully created confidence and developed relationships that removed barriers for older adults to improve their balance and endurance.
